New Era of Off-site Catheter Based Procedures and Anesthesia

Description: This refresher course lecture will highlight the anesthetic considerations for a variety of interventional cardiology procedure. The concept of the Hybrid OR is a reality in many centers now, and a basic understanding of the types of procedures being done is necessary to provide anesthetic care. This syllabus will provide the background information for the lecture, which will focus on clinical application of anesthesia in these challenging locations.
